Creating Profile

Once you register, you are automatically taken to the create profile screen. Here you can create your profile. Don't worry, these fields won't be visible to others. You can control later what fields others can see. But this is an important screen, please fill it carefully and correctly, because you won't be able to change some of the information later.

Creating NetVCards
|
|
Once you create your own profile, you can create and design your own NetVCard. In that NetVCard you can choose and use the fileds from your profile. How good your card looks is upto your creativity and imagination. You can use images, you can even create dynamic cards. If you are not an IT person then take help from some of your technical friends. You can also take inspiration from your friends card if you like theirs.

Creating Signature

After creating the NetVCards, you can generate your signature to be used in all your outgoing mails.

Adding Signature
|
|
After generating your signatures, you can simply copy paste those signatures to all your email accounts. It's a one time process, after that you won't have to add signatures to your mail accounts for your lifetime. You have the power
|
|
You can set permissions about who can see what of your info and how many times he/she can view your info.
|

Understanding the application flow
|

The best way to understand the application flow is to ask one of your friend to register and then you two try to search and view info of each other.

Central authority
|
|
If your contact info changes ever then you can simply update it at NetVCards and it'll be reflected in all your email accounts and even your old sent mails automatically. It saves you from making changes at various places in all your email accounts.

Searching for your friends
|
|
Your profile should be created before you can search for your friends profile. If you have created your profile, you can go to search page and search your friends info by his/her mobile number or his/her email ID. For you to be able to search your friends details, your friend should be registerd with NetVCards.

What if I have my friends OLD mobile number or OLD email ID, which I'm not sure if he/she is still using
|

That's where the real power of NetVCards is shown. YES, you can search your friends even by their OLD mobile number or OLD email IDs, which you are not sure if they are still using it.

Would I see their LATEST info, even if I search by their old (possible, now nonexistant) phone number, emailID

YES, you'll always see their LATEST info even if your friend has changed multiple phone numbers or emails.

Why only a signature LINK is provided instead of complete signature
|
There are multiple reasons, if you attach complete signatures then:

You'll lose control over those signatures. And they won't be dynamic. They'll show old info.
- They'll travel with all your mails. It'll waste a lot of bandwidth and power consumed by serevrs accross the world. Thus by sending only link instead of complete signature and image, you can help cut down carbon emmission, conserve energy and save a lot of trees and bring down global warming.
